Job summary

I.T. For Less is seeking a proactive Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality web apps, dashboards, and custom software solutions.

You will collaborate with product owners and designers to convert requirements into scalable, secure code and robust back-end services. Responsibilities include transforming Figma designs into responsive WordPress sites, building React/Next.js front-ends, and implementing secure APIs with Laravel.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in WordPress theme & plugin development with Elementor.
• Hands-on Laravel, PHP 7+ and RESTful API design experience.
• Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Relational databases knowledge and SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Convert Figma designs into responsive WordPress sites using Elementor and custom PHP development.
• Build modern web applications with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop robust back-end services using PHP and Laravel, including API design and integration.
• Design relational database schemas, write migrations, and optimise queries for MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and Supabase.
• Integrate third-party services, authentication mechanisms, and payment gateways.
• Create and customise WordPress themes, plugins, and Elementor components.
• Develop internal admin dashboards and business tools.
• Debug, optimise, maintain, and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding while ensuring code quality and security.

About the Role

I.T. For Less is looking for a proactive Full Stack Engineer who can independently design, develop, and deliver high‑quality web applications, dashboards, and custom software solutions. You will work closely with product owners and designers to turn requirements into scalable, secure, and performant code.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert Figma designs into responsive WordPress sites using Elementor and custom PHP development.
• Build modern web applications with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3‑5+ years of full‑stack development experience.

• Hands‑on experience with Laravel, PHP 7+, and RESTful API design.
• Solid knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Understanding of responsive design, UI/UX best practices, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Supabase or other serverless databases.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerisation technologies.
• Exposure to headless CMS architectures.
• Experience using AI code assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine).
