Job summary

Sangoma is seeking a capable Full Stack Developer (Node.js & React) to build and maintain cloud communications web applications. You will work across frontend and backend, implement REST APIs, optimize MySQL, and handle real-time features with WebSockets, while operating in a Docker/Kubernetes environment.

You'll join an Agile team, collaborating with Product, QA, and fellow developers to deliver scalable software and continually improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Strong experience with Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of MySQL, database design, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Experience with Redis and BullMQ for caching and background job processing.
• Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git and Agile development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability through ongoing enhancements and code improvements.
• Deploy and support applications running in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Engineering to deliver enhancements and resolve customer-impacting issues.

Full Stack Developer - Node.js & React

As part of our engineering team, you'll develop modern, scalable applications that are used across our global platform while working alongside experienced engineers who value clean code, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Your Role:

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer with 3-5 years of experience to support, enhance, and maintain business-critical web applications used across Sangoma's global communications platform. You'll work across both the frontend and backend, developing new features, resolving production issues, improving application performance, and helping ensure our software remains reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain.

Working as part of a collaborative Agile team, you'll partner with Product, QA, and fellow developers to deliver quality software while continuously improving the stability and user experience of our applications.
