Job Description

We are seeking a Java Software Engineer II to join our growing software development team working on an important, internet-facing web application that provides payments initiation capabilities. The role involves analyzing requirements, developing and testing code, and deploying efficient systems to support our core organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Implement secure coding practices and adhere to DevOps and Agile methodology.
• Test systems thoroughly for installation and efficiency.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call support for production issues.
• Collaborate with business units, operations, and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Mentor junior team members and manage distributed development teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5-7 years of experience building enterprise applications.
• Strong command of Java11 or later, Spring Boot2.7 or3.x, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
• Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure). Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gradle/Maven.
• Proficient with SQL/RDBMS and relational database design.
• Front‑end experience with Angular or TypeScript preferred.
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and database migration tools such as Liquibase.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work at a rapid execution pace while maintaining strategic view.
