Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring in Bengaluru for a seasoned full-stack engineer to implement scalable applications using 12-factor principles. You will collaborate on frontend and backend services, apply TDD and CI/CD practices, and help shape technology choices across the team.

You will participate in standups, retrospectives, and knowledge sharing to accelerate delivery and product quality. A 4+ year Bachelor’s degree and strong cloud/DevOps experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on programming on Angular, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, JS, ES6, NodeJS and related frameworks.
• 5+ years in Java Core, Spring Boot, Kafka, JUnit, Swagger, Splunk.
• 5+ years in SQL/PL-SQL, PostgreSQL; Informatica not mandatory.
• 4+ years of DevOps and CI/CD with Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode, QA tools, Tableau, debugging tools.
• 4+ years cloud experience using AWS or equivalents.
• 4-year Bachelor’s Degree as minimum education.

Responsibilities

• Implements applications following 12‑factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements.
• Partners on full stack of software products developing and implementing frontends and backend services.
• Leverages test‑driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality of products.
• Actively participates in the decision‑making process of the team ensuring that the simplest appropriate technology and design is chosen to meet user needs.
• Coordinates within the team in designing systems and apps.
• Practices daily paired programming and test‑driven development in writing software and building products.
• Participates in daily site, cross‑site, and product team standups.
• Participates in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product.
• Applies functional professional knowledge sharing and contributes to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the team.
• Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices.
• Coordinates support for software products in user environments.
• Participates in iteration planning meetings ensuring that the team has a common understanding of each story and chores in the team’s backlog.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands‑on programming experience on Angular, CSS 3 / HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, ES6, NodeJS, Angular Material / Bootstrap + Prime NG, Storybook, Launch Darkly, Amplitude, Qualtrics or similar frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience in Java Core, Spring Boot, Kafka, Junit, Swagger, Splunk.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Informatica (Not Mandatory).
• 4+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD delivery methodology, technologies, and familiarity with tools such as Version control (preferably Git), CI (preferably Jenkins), Static code analysis (preferably SonarQube), Cyber Security (preferably Veracode), QA (TestRail, Coda, Postman), Reporting (preferably Tableau), Debugging (PagerDuty, Splunk, Postman).
• 4+ years of experience with cloud technology using AWS services or equivalent cloud services.
• 4‑year Bachelor’s Degree.
