Full Stack Developer – Barclays

Join us as a Full Stack Developer at Barclays, where you will spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will harness cutting‑edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.

The role is based in Pune.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve scalable and secure software solutions using industry‑aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to define requirements, devise solution strategies and ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Adhere to secure coding practices, implement unit testing practices and enforce secure software development.
• Stay informed on emerging technology trends and contribute to the organization’s technology community.

Qualifications

• Experience building reusable front‑end components with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Proficiency in integrating AEM with third‑party APIs and backend services using RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Background in developing AEM components, templates and workflows using Sling, OSGi and JCR.
• Knowledge of core Java, Spring Boot, Node.js and containerization tools such as Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, security scanning (Sonar, Veracode) and cloud‑native AEM deployments.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
• AWS/Azure and Adobe Certified Expert certifications are a plus.
