Job summary

Morepen Laboratories is seeking a capable Full-Stack Developer to build secure, scalable enterprise applications using AI development tools. The candidate will translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, and own modules from design through deployment and support.

You will work with React, Next.js and TypeScript for the frontend, Node.js for backend services and REST APIs, and manage relational and NoSQL databases, with a focus on secure authentication and collaboration

We are looking for a capable Full-Stack Developer who can use modern AI development tools to build secure, scalable and complex enterprise applications. The candidate should understand business requirements and take ownership of assigned applications or modules from design and database modelling through development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions.
• Develop modular and user-friendly web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs and business workflows.
• Design and manage application data using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Build authentication, role-based access, approval workflows, alerts, notifications and audit trails.
• Develop integrations with ERP and other internal or external systems.
• Use AI coding tools for planning, coding, debugging, testing, code review and documentation.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for functionality, security, performance and maintainability.
• Write and execute appropriate unit, integration and functional tests.
• Support controlled releases, database changes, rollback readiness and production issue resolution.
• Maintain source code, technical documentation and deployment records.
• Protect company data, credentials, source code and confidential information while using AI tools.
• Coordinate with business users, internal IT teams and external vendors

Required Skills

• Strong practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, GLM or equivalent.
• Proven ability to develop a complete working application or module using an AI-assisted development workflow.
• Good experience in React, Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience in backend development, preferably Node.js, and REST API creation.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server or PostgreSQL, database design and queries.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB or another NoSQL database.
• Understanding of authentication, authorisation, roles, permissions and application security.
• Experience with Git, version control, testing and application deployment.
• Ability to understand, review, debug and correct AI-generated code.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
