Job summary

AnywhereWorks seeks a Backend Engineer in Chennai with 3–5 years of experience to contribute to scalable backend services and APIs. You will work with experienced engineers, designers and product stakeholders to deliver reliable features.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of backend development experience.
• Hands-on with Node.js and backend frameworks (Express, Fastify, Hono).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
• Strong experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimisation.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised deployments.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Cloud Run or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
