Job summary

Alignerr seeks a Frontend TypeScript Engineer to review, evaluate, and guide AI-generated code. This fully remote hourly contract role supports 10–40 hours per week and partners with leading AI research teams to ensure type-safe, scalable web development.

You will apply real-world frontend knowledge to help AI models understand best practices in TypeScript, interfaces, and architecture, while communicating technical reasoning clearly and concisely.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in TypeScript including static typing, generics, interfaces, and utility types.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with modern frontend or full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Node.js.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated TypeScript code for strict type safety, accurate interface design, and correct generic usage.
• Develop complex, type-safe frontend components that demonstrate best practices in modern web architecture.
• Provide detailed technical commentary on architectural decisions and type-driven development strategies.
• Identify and flag ambiguities or errors in AI responses related to complex type definitions and asynchronous frontend patterns.
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.

Who You Are

• Deep expertise in TypeScript — including static typing, generics, interfaces, and utility types

• Strong written and verbal communicator who can clearly articulate technical reasoning
• Naturally detail-oriented with a high standard for code quality and correctness
