Job description

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate wireframes and requirements into high-quality code.
• Develop a strong and deep understanding of the non-functional aspects of frontend engineering, through metrics and test‑driven development.
• Optimise applications for maximum performance, scalability, security and reusability.
• Ensure design and code consistency across devices and browsers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews and continuously improve the codebase and UI components.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies, especially with a foundation in a generative AI‑based UI framework, and share insights with the team.

Requirements

• 1‑4 years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and React.js (preferred).
• Experience with TypeScript, Redux, or similar state‑management libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
• Understanding of frontend metrics, RUM, SEO.
• Expert‑level proficiency in working with Browser Developer Tools.
• Good sense of design and attention to detail in user experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or Material UI.
• Experience in working with instrumentation and testing frameworks like Google Lighthouse, Playwright, Selenium, Jest, Cypress, etc.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Basic understanding of UX principles or experience working with design systems.
• Experience working with modern AI SDLC aids, like Windsurf, Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.
