TekWissen India is seeking a Front End Software Development Engineer III to join our Chennai hybrid team. You will develop and maintain the front-end of web applications, focusing on UI/UX, ReactJS, and client-side performance.

Engage with product owners and designers to translate requirements into clean, scalable interfaces. The role requires 6+ years in IT, strong React experience, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development.
• 4-5 years of hands-on React experience front-end development using ReactJS.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases, pain points, and requirements with user-centric focus.
• Design, develop, and deliver using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Align with architecture guidelines for a unified development approach.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, back-end developers, and architects.
• Create mock-ups and prototypes; participate in UI design reviews and product demos.
• Perform functional and UI testing to ensure quality development.
• Improve performance by fixing bugs and adopting new technologies to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility per standards.
• Design, develop, and deliver user-friendly experiences using enterprise brand standards and templates for consistent UX.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging UI trends.

Position Description

• Employees in this job function develop and maintain the front-end/ client-side of an application, typically a web application and implementation of the user interface and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies
• Align with architecture guidelines for unified and coherent approach to development
• Collaborate with cross functional teams like product owners, designers, back-end developers, architects etc.
• Create mock-ups and prototypes to visualize new features and participate in user interface design reviews and product demos
• Performs functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality development
• Work on continuously improving performance by fixing bugs and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Familiar with programming practices, such as cross-browser compatibility testing, SEO principles and accessibility standards
• Design, develop, and deliver user friendly interactive experience using enterprise brand standards and templates for a consistent user experience using React JS
• Keep up to date with latest emerging technologies and trends in user interface design

• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
