Job summary

Endpoint Clinical is seeking a Front-End Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern web interfaces for our clinical trial platform. You will work with product, UX, and back-end teams to implement responsive, high-performance UI components from wireframes.

You will ensure accessibility, collaborate in an Agile environment, and contribute to code reviews and testing. A strong background in React, TS, and modern UI libraries is required, with a passion for clean, scalable front-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js and modern state management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable front-end code using React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Translate designs (Figma/Wireframes) into responsive components.
• Optimize apps for speed, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1).
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Write unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes.

Position Overview

The Front-End Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining modern, user-friendly, and accessible web applications for our clinical trial platform. Working closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Back-End Engineers, you will translate complex wireframes into high-performance, responsive interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, clean, and maintainable front-end code using React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma/Wireframe designs into responsive web components.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Write unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous process improvement within the team.
• Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and security best practices are met across all interfaces.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• 3+ years of professional software development experience focused on front-end web development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and modern state management tools (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
• Demonstrated experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern UI libraries (TailwindCSS, Material UI, or Ant Design).
• Familiarity with modern build tools and bundlers like Vite, Webpack, or Babel.
• Prior experience working in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Skills

• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React ecosystem).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to UI/UX detail.
• Proficiency in version control systems, primarily Git.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
