THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Frontend Developer with expertise in building intuitive and responsive web and mobile applications, coupled with a deep understanding of Cloud Computing and Machine Learning. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency in frontend development, cloud services (specifically AWS), and a strong grasp of Python-based machine learning libraries. As a part of our dynamic development team, you will contribute to designing and developing cutting-edge applications that deliver seamless user experiences, while also leveraging cloud infrastructure and machine learning capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full-Stack Development:
- Design and develop responsive and interactive web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- Ensure high performance, cross-browser compatibility, and consistent user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across multiple platforms.
Cloud Computing & AWS Services:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and services using AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Manage and configure cloud infrastructure, including EC2, Lambda, S3 storage, API Gateway, and other relevant AWS services.
- Implement serverless architecture, data storage, and scaling solutions.
- Ensure cloud security, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery protocols are in place.
Machine Learning:
- Work with Python-based machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, dlib, face_recognition) to build and integrate machine learning models into applications.
- Collaborate with data science and backend teams to deploy ML models and facilitate seamless integration into web and mobile apps.
- Conduct data preprocessing, model training, and model validation to optimize performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in machine learning and cloud technologies.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, data scientists, product managers, and designers, to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the development of lifecycle, implementing best practices for both frontend development and cloud-based systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in frontend development with a strong portfolio of web and mobile applications.
- Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3 Glacier storage, RDS, and API Gateway.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks like React, React Native, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong command of Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
- Knowledge of web hosting and deploying web applications in production environments.
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to debug complex issues, and optimize code for performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile app development (iOS/Android) using frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud-native application architectures.
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with machine learning model deployment in production environments.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Good knowledge of Python and its machine learning libraries.
