Job summary

A language education provider in Chennai seeks an enthusiastic German teacher to guide adult learners. The ideal candidate will have a C1 level certification or relevant degree and at least one year of teaching experience. The role involves designing lesson plans, conducting exams, and working with a supportive international team. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult education and/or language-related field.
• C1 level certification and/or equivalent Degree in German Studies.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach the German language with fun and humor.
• Organize and supervise certification exams.
• Design worksheets and integrate current topics.

Your Responsibilities

• You love teaching the German language with fun and humor and enjoy guiding your learners on their language journey
• Opportunity to help organize and supervise certification exams on a regular basis
• We provide you with the course books and a course progression as a framework for your lessons
• You design worksheets for your classes and integrate current topics according to the language level.
• You prepare and follow up on your lessons independently

What You Bring

• You have experience in adult education and/or have studied a language-related field
• C1 level certification and/or an equivalent Degree in German Studies (BA/MA German)
• You are motivated to work on-site at our language school in Chennai
• At least 1 year of teaching experience is preferred
