Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer to develop and support FPGA solutions for LTE/5G wireless products.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design, verify, debug, and optimize FPGA firmware from concept through production, with emphasis on DSP and high-speed interfaces like O-RAN and 10G/25G Ethernet, while creating documentation and supporting deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FPGA design experience in LTE/5G, RAN, or wireless products
• Strong Verilog/VHDL and digital design
• Hands-on with Vivado, Quartus, and ModelSim
• FPGA-based DSP and radio signal processing experience
• Knowledge of O-RAN, CPRI, LTE, and 5G technologies
• Experience with 10G/25G Ethernet, JESD204
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink
• Strong debugging, verification, and timing closure skills
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics/Telecommunications/EE

Responsibilities

• Develop functional test benches and firmware validation

• Work on O-RAN, CPRI, JESD204, and 10G/25G Ethernet interfaces
• Support hardware integration, testing, and customer deployments
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Your Role

As an FPGA Design Engineer, you will develop and support FPGA solutions for LTE/5G wireless communication products. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, verify, debug, and optimize FPGA firmware from concept through production.

• Develop FPGA designs using Verilog/VHDL.
• Design and implement wireless/RAN communication features.
