Position Summary
Redaptive is looking for an FP&A Specialist for its India team to work closely with global leadership and the India FP&A team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports to show performance of various products and their profitability to internal stakeholders and management.
- Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgeted and forecasted figures, identify reasons for variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Cash Forecast: Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, monitor cash inflows and outflows, assess short-term funding requirements, and provide recommendations to optimize cash management strategies.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements), identify trends, variances, and KPIs, and provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Board Presentations: Prepare materials for board meetings and summarize key financial insights, strategic initiatives, and performance metrics to communicate the company’s performance and outlook to board members.
- Partner with U.S. FP&A team to perform ad‑hoc corporate financial planning and analysis as requested.
- Time Allocation: Assisting in month end reporting – 25%; Product financial reporting – 25%; Cash forecast preparation – 25%; Ad‑hoc tasks – 25%.
Required Abilities and Skills
- 5+ years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably in start‑ups.
- Chartered Accountant qualification.
- MBA degree in Finance.
- Financial modeling, budgeting/forecasting, and variance analysis experience.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment while meeting deadlines.
- Advanced problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis abilities, combined with proven communication skills.
Education and Experience
- 4+ years of relevant FP&A experience.
- Master’s or advanced degree in finance or accounting.
- Management experience and a willingness and desire to help grow a team.
- Professional qualifications such as MBA, CA, CFA, or CMA.
- Experience in using Pigment (preferred but not required).
Travel
This role does not involve any international travel.
