Responsibilities
  • Define and execute CareConnect's technology roadmap, aligned with product-market fit and mission impact.
  • Build scalable, secure, and resilient systems for India's healthcare ecosystem, with special focus on low-bandwidth, multilingual, and low-literacy contexts.
  • Leverage and integrate best-in-class AI models (LLM, NLP, probabilistic triage tools, RAG) while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance.
  • Own infrastructure decisions: cloud platforms, databases, DevOps practices, and data privacy safeguards.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from prototype to market launch.
  • Employ lean, rapid prototyping to deliver and iterate on MVPs in 4-6 months.
  • Translate business and patient needs into technical solutions that are simple, usable, and trustworthy
  • Build features for AI triage, provider rating systems, patient follow-ups, and integration with telehealth networks.
  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technical team across engineering, AI/ML, and product.
  • Balance insourcing vs outsourcing for speed and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and rigorous documentation while keeping patient impact at the centre.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to align technology with business goals.
  • Engage with health systems, insurers, and government partners to ensure product readiness for scale.
  • Build relationships with leading AI, cloud, and health tech vendors.
  • Communicate technology vision to investors, funders, and stakeholders.
Requirements

  • Proven ability to deliver MVPs in 4-6 month timeframes.
  • Prior experience in healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Advanced software development and architecture across multiple languages.
  • Strong AI/ML background (LLMs, NLP, agentic AI tools).
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and Indian health data regulations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7 HIPAA equivalents).
  • Ability to build and scale engineering teams.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.
  • Resourceful with budgets and focused on ROI.
