Role

The Forward Deployed Engineer will work directly with client teams to map complex manual workflows and engineer autonomous agentic AI solutions that replace them. You will own solutions end-to-end — discovery, architecture, build, deployment, and iteration — and act as the technical authority bridging agentic architectures and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Embed with business stakeholders to analyze and translate enterprise processes into agentic workflows.
• Design, build, and deploy multi-agent systems, function-calling pipelines, RAG implementations, and reusable agent skills.
• Develop production-ready backend services and integration layers to connect agents with enterprise platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Jira, SAP, email).
• Package, host, and scale agent workloads using cloud architectures (serverless, containerized environments) with automated CI/CD.
• Implement safety, observability, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and agent evaluation loops to ensure reliability and compliance.

Technical Requirements

• Agentic AI & LLM frameworks: hands-on experience with Strands (primary), familiarity with LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Agent core concepts: tool use, function calling, streaming, context management, system prompts, chain-of-thought techniques.
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi-agent coordination (A2A), task delegation, and result aggregation experience.
• RAG pipelines: experience with vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector, OpenSearch), chunking, embeddings, and retrieval optimization.
• Backend development: Python 3.10+ with async/await and strict type hinting; FastAPI or equivalent; REST API design; modern auth flows (JWT/OAuth2).
• Data processing: solid SQL skills and experience extracting/classifying unstructured enterprise documents (PDFs, Excel, legacy formats).
• Infrastructure & DevOps: AWS AgentCore and core AWS services (EC2/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3), Docker, and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
