Job summary

Office-based position with cab support and a preference for candidates with up to 1 month notice. Candidates should have 1–3+ years of relevant mortgage/default experience and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years in mortgage servicing, default operations, or residential title clearance.
• Knowledge of foreclosure laws, title commitments, and real estate documentation.
• Experience with abstracting, title examination, survey analysis, and title research.
• Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with mortgage/title software.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pre-foreclosure title reports, commitments, vesting deeds, legal descriptions, and prior mortgages.
• Identify and resolve title issues like outstanding liens, judgments, and tax encumbrances before foreclosure sale.
• File and track title insurance claims and post-foreclosure mortgage recovery claims with investors or insurers.
• Follow state regulations and investor guidelines governing default and foreclosure timelines.

Preferred candidate profile
