Job summary

Salad Days (Estd. 2014) in India seeks a seasoned Food Safety Auditor to uphold the highest standards across its kitchens and facilities in Hyderabad.

You will lead audits, verify records, and drive corrective actions to ensure FSSAI, ISO 22000, and GFSI compliance. Responsibilities include conducting facility walkthroughs, documenting findings, and maintaining detailed non-conformities logs while collaborating with operations to implement CAPA and continuous improvement across cloud kitchens

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, regulatory enforcement, and auditing.
• HACCP training and/or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 22000/FSSC 22000) is often required.
• Strong knowledge of FSSAI Schedule-IV & ISO 22000 standards.

Responsibilities

• Audit & Compliance: Conduct thorough walkthroughs of restaurants to evaluate sanitation, pest control, equipment maintenance, and food handling practices.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure compliance with FSSAI Schedule-IV, ISO 22000, and other relevant food safety standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports and maintain non-conformities logs with corrective and preventive actions.
• Records Verification: Audit records regarding temperature logs, receiving, storage, and staff training to ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, or GFSI standards.
• Operational Coverage: Conduct audits across food manufacturing plants, catering units, central kitchens, and cloud kitchens.
• Audit Execution: Conduct 20 main days' audits and maintain accurate audit logs and records.
