About the Role

Talemexa is seeking a skilled and motivated Flutter Developer to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android using a single Flutter codebase. In this role, you will develop responsive user interfaces, implement efficient application architecture, integrate backend services, and ensure consistent performance across supported mobile platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of mobile application development experience, strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, and practical knowledge of state management solutions such as Riverpod or BLoC. You should also have experience integrating Firebase services and REST APIs, writing automated tests, and managing mobile application releases.

You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to transform requirements into polished, reliable, and user-friendly mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Platform App Development: Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart, maximizing code reuse while ensuring platform-specific requirements are addressed.
• UI Development: Build responsive, attractive, and accessible user interfaces that deliver consistent experiences across different screen sizes and devices.
• State Management: Implement scalable application state management using Riverpod, BLoC, or other appropriate Flutter architecture patterns.
• API Integration: Integrate REST APIs and backend services to support data exchange, authentication, and core application functionality.
• Firebase Integration: Implement relevant Firebase services, such as authentication, cloud messaging, analytics, and crash reporting, based on product requirements.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Write and maintain widget tests and integration tests to validate functionality, identify defects, and improve application reliability.
• App Store Releases: Prepare, test, and publish application updates to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store while following platform-specific submission guidelines.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize rendering, memory usage, network requests, and startup times.
• CI/CD and Automation: Support continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows to streamline builds, automated testing, and application release processes.
• Code Quality and Documentation: Follow coding standards, participate in code reviews, document technical decisions, and maintain clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand requirements, resolve technical challenges, and deliver features within agreed timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–5 years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart.
• Experience building and publishing at least one mobile application.
• Practical knowledge of Riverpod, BLoC, or similar state management solutions.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and Firebase services.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture, responsive design, and platform-specific development requirements.
• Experience writing widget tests and integration tests.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.
• Knowledge of native iOS development using Swift or Android development using Kotlin is an advantage.
