Job summary

Cynosure Corporate Solutions is seeking a Flexographic Printing Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain flexo presses for high-quality outputs on plastic films, paper, and foils.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to follow detailed job instructions. You will load substrates, mix inks, monitor color and registration, and collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–4 years of experience operating flexographic printing machines.
• Diploma/ITI in Printing Technology or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to load substrates and manage ink preparation and substrate handling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing machines according to job specifications.
• Install and align printing plates, anilox rollers, doctor blades and components.
• Load substrates and ensure proper tension and alignment.
• Prepare and mix inks (water-based, solvent-based, or UV) for production runs.
• Monitor print quality for color accuracy, registration, and consistency.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on the flexo machine.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complete production reports, log sheets, and job tracking records accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality control teams to resolve any printing issues or defects.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Flexographic Printing Machine Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexo printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials on various substrates such as plastic films, paper, and foils. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of printing processes, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing machines as per job specifications
  
• Install and align printing plates, anilox rollers, doctor blades, and other machine components
  
• Load substrates (films, paper, labels) and ensure proper tension and alignment
  
• Prepare and mix inks (water-based, solvent-based, or UV) for production runs
  
• Monitor print quality for color accuracy, registration, and consistency throughout the run.
  
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on the flexo machine
  
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
  
• Complete production reports, log sheets, and job tracking records accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma, ITI, or diploma in Printing Technology or related field
  
• 1–4 years of experience operating flexographic printing machines (or similar printing equipment)
  
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  
• Understanding of color matching, ink preparation, and substrate handling
  
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed job instructions
  
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle material loading
  

Preferred Skills (Plus Points)

• Experience with multi-color flexo presses
  
• Knowledge of UV curing systems and finishing units (e.g., varnishing, laminating, die-cutting)
  
• Familiarity with automated press controls and monitoring systems
  
• Awareness of eco-friendly printing practices
