Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Flexera Tooling Implementation Specialist with extensive hands‑on experience in the end‑to‑end implementation, configuration, and management of the Flexera Software Asset Management (SAM) tool. As a tooling expert and solution architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the Flexera platform is correctly deployed, maintained, and aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently configure and install the Flexera SAM tool with minimal supervision.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of the Flexera environment.
• Upload, manage, and maintain accurate data within the Flexera SAM platform.
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks including backups, patches, and upgrades.
• Administer user roles and access, aligned with organizational policies.
• Continuously monitor system health and proactively resolve any technical issues.
• Manage and maintain the infrastructure hosting the SAM solution, ensuring adequate resources.
• Escalate and manage vendor support tickets, and collaborate closely with vendor teams.
• Maintain all data feeds and system integrations connected to the Flexera SAM tool.
• Perform scheduled and ad‑hoc data uploads and updates.
• Upgrade the Flexera platform and its modules in line with evolving customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands‑on experience in configuring and deploying both on‑premise and cloud instances of Flexera SAM.
• Deep understanding of Flexera's modules, data connectors, platform architecture, and capabilities.
• Technical expertise in Flexera features, limitations, and implementation best practices.
• Skilled in designing and implementing frameworks to assess and improve tool maturity.
• Ability to create tailored implementation plans based on customer business and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Flexera certifications or formal training.
