Job summary

Rumango Software and Consulting Services Private Limited seeks FLEXCUBE consultants for Bangalore onsite roles. Candidates should have hands‑on exposure to Islamic Banking modules and strong FLEXCUBE/FCUBS experience across UBS, 12.x/14.x releases.

The roles cover technical, functional and testing consulting with REST API, integrations and data migration responsibilities. Onsite travel to client locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE / FCUBS.
• Strong experience with FLEXCUBE 12.x / 14.x, preferably 14.7+.
• Banking/Core Banking implementations with Islamic Banking modules.

Responsibilities

• Work on Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS (FCUBS) implementation, customization, upgrades and support.
• Develop and support REST APIs, Web Services and third‑party integrations.
• Functional exposure to Islamic Banking modules: Islamic Financing, Accounts, LC, Fixed Assets, Asset Management.
• Coordinate with technical teams on customizations, interfaces and integrations.
• Support SIT/UAT, Go-Live and post‑production validation.

Rumango is looking for experienced Oracle FLEXCUBE Consultants to join our Banking and Digital Transformation projects. Candidates with strong FLEXCUBE implementation experience and hands‑on exposure to Islamic Banking modules are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

FLEXCUBE Technical Consultant

• Work on Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS (FCUBS) implementation, customization, upgrades and support.
• Experience with FLEXCUBE 12.x / 14.x, preferably 14.7 and above.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Java and WebLogic.
• Customize and enhance FLEXCUBE modules based on business requirements.
• Work on conventional modules such as CASA, OBPM, OBTR, OBBRN, OBMA, OBVAM, OBCL and ELCM.
• Technical exposure to Islamic Banking modules, including:
• Islamic Financing
• Islamic Accounts
• Islamic Letters of Credit (Islamic LC)
• Islamic Fixed Assets
• Islamic Asset Management
• Develop and support REST APIs, Web Services and third‑party integrations.
• Exposure to SWIFT, payment systems and banking integrations is an advantage.
• Support data migration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, SIT/UAT and Go‑Live activities.

FLEXCUBE Functional Consultant

• Work on end-to-end FLEXCUBE functional implementation, configuration and product setup.
• Gather and analyse business requirements and prepare BRD, FRS and functional specifications.
• Conduct FLEXCUBE product walkthroughs and demonstrations for clients and business users.
• Perform product setup, configuration and parameterisation.
• Good functional exposure to CASA, OBPM, OBTR, OBBRN, OBMA, OBVAM, OBCL and ELCM.
• Strong functional exposure to Islamic Banking modules, including:
• Islamic Financing
• Islamic Accounts
• Islamic Letters of Credit (Islamic LC)
• Islamic Fixed Assets
• Islamic Asset Management
• Understand Islamic Banking products, workflows and Sharia‑compliant banking processes.
• Coordinate with technical teams on customizations, interfaces and integrations.
• Prepare test scenarios and support SIT, UAT, regression testing and defect resolution.
• Support data migration validation, Go‑Live, user training and post‑production activities.

FLEXCUBE Testing Consultant

• Perform functional, integration, SIT, UAT, regression and end‑to‑end testing of FLEXCUBE.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data and test execution reports.
• Test conventional FLEXCUBE modules including CASA, OBPM, OBTR, OBBRN, OBMA, OBVAM, OBCL and ELCM.
• Perform testing of Islamic Banking modules, including:
• Islamic Financing
• Islamic Accounts
• Islamic Letters of Credit (Islamic LC)
• Islamic Fixed Assets
• Islamic Asset Management
• Validate Islamic Banking products, workflows, transactions, accounting entries, profit calculations and system responses.
• Experience in OBPM and SWIFT MT/MX message testing is an advantage.
• Test integrations with payment systems, APIs and third‑party applications.
• Identify, track and coordinate resolution of defects with technical and functional teams.
• Support UAT, Go‑Live and post‑production validation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE / FCUBS.
• Strong experience with FLEXCUBE 12.x / 14.x, preferably 14.7 and above.
• Experience in Banking / Core Banking implementations.
• Relevant experience in Islamic Banking / Islamic Banking modules is preferred.
• Good understanding of Islamic Financing, Islamic Accounts, Islamic LC, Islamic Fixed Assets and Islamic Asset Management.
• Strong analytical, communication and client‑handling skills.
• Experience working with onsite client teams is preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite and travel to client locations as required.
