Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Fixed Income Dealing / Treasury / Buy‑Side Debt Markets.
• Prior experience with AMC, Mutual Fund, Institutional Treasury, or Buy‑Side platform preferred.
• Strong understanding of Indian money market instruments and liquidity management.

Responsabilités

• Fund Coverage & Liquidity Management: support execution and liquidity management across Overnight Funds, Money Market Funds, Liquid Funds, Low Duration Funds, Ultra Short Duration Funds, and Short Duration / Cash Management Strategies.
• Dealing & Market Execution: lead active dealing and execution in TREPS, Call/Notice Money, Market Repo, RBI Repo, T-Bills, CPs, CDs, and short-dated G-Secs.
• Liquidity, Risk & Market Monitoring: track money market rates, repo curves, liquidity trends, monitor counterparty exposure and regulatory limits.
• Systems, Settlement & Controls: execute trades through approved dealing platforms; ensure accurate trade booking, confirmations, settlements, and allocations.
• Governance & Compliance: ensure adherence to SEBI regulations, RBI guidelines and internal policies.

Position: Senior Fixed Income Dealer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Buy-Side Fixed Income Dealer with strong hands‑on experience in active dealing and execution across money market and short‑term debt strategies. The role involves managing liquidity, market execution, and cash deployment across various fixed income products while ensuring optimal execution, capital safety, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate should possess deep understanding of debt markets, liquidity cycles, and fixed income instruments with the ability to execute high‑volume trades under dynamic market conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Coverage & Liquidity Management

• Support execution and liquidity management across:
• Overnight Funds
• Money Market Funds
• Liquid Funds
• Low Duration Funds
• Ultra Short Duration Funds
• Short Duration / Cash Management Strategies
• Work closely with the fund management team on portfolio optimization and liquidity planning
• Provide portfolio analytics and market inputs to internal stakeholders

Dealing & Market Execution

• Lead active dealing and execution in:
• TREPS
• Call/Notice Money
• Market Repo
• RBI Repo
• Treasury Bills (T-Bills)
• Commercial Papers (CPs)
• Certificates of Deposit (CDs)
• Short-dated Government Securities (G-Secs)
• Manage daily liquidity deployment, reinvestment, and roll‑over strategies
• Ensure best execution through strong rate discovery and counterparty management
• Handle large inflows/outflows and volatile liquidity conditions efficiently
• Act as the execution interface between portfolio managers and market participants

Liquidity, Risk & Market Monitoring

• Track money market rates, repo curves, and liquidity trends
• Support duration management and liquidity buffer maintenance
• Monitor counterparty exposure, issuer concentration, and regulatory limits
• Provide market insights to assist portfolio construction and cash positioning

Systems, Settlement & Controls

• Execute trades through approved dealing platforms including NDS-OM, CCIL, Clearcorp, and TREPS
• Ensure accurate trade booking, confirmations, settlements, and allocations
• Maintain dealing room discipline, documentation, and audit trails

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations, RBI guidelines, and internal investment policies
• Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews
• Maintain strong governance and information barrier standards

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Fixed Income Dealing / Treasury / Buy‑Side Debt Markets
• Prior experience with AMC, Mutual Fund, Institutional Treasury, or Buy‑Side platform preferred
• Strong understanding of Indian money market instruments and liquidity management
• Proven ability to execute large, high‑frequency trades with strong market judgment
• Familiarity with debt market platforms and settlement systems
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail, risk awareness, and process orientation

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field
• CFA / CA / MBA (Finance) preferred
