Job summary

HNM Sourcing in Pune is seeking a finance professional to own Fixed Assets processes, ensure alignment with accounting standards and internal controls, and support FA improvements.

You will collaborate with HR, Project Management, and Finance, perform reconciliations, and drive automation opportunities while assisting in month- and year-end reporting.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Fixed Assets / R2R environment.
• Strong understanding of capitalization policies and accounting standards.
• Experience supporting process improvement or transformation projects.
• ERP knowledge (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft BC preferred).
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on updated and redesigned Fixed Assets (FA) processes to ensure alignment with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support implementation and stabilization of FA process improvements.
• Assist in the Labor Capitalization Project in collaboration with external consultants.
• Validate capitalization entries related to labor costs in compliance with accounting policies.
• Coordinate with HR, Project Management, and Finance teams to ensure accurate allocation and capitalization of costs.
• Perform reconciliations related to fixed assets and capitalized labor.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for capitalization methodology.
• Support month-end and year-end FA reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency within FA operations.
