Qualification: ITI in Fitter Trade

Experience: Minimum 5 Years (in Industrial / O&M Environment)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our Operation & Maintenance team at the UAIL Site, Tikiri. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in mechanical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of Conveyor Systems, Stacker & Reclaimer, Motors, Rollers, Shafts, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, ensuring smooth operation and minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of conveyor systems, stackers, reclaimers, and related equipment.
• Inspect and ensure proper alignment of rollers, pulleys, shafts, and couplings.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and replace defective components efficiently.
• Handle and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, valves, and actuators.
• Lubricate and maintain mechanical parts as per maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
• Support engineers and supervisors during shutdowns and major overhauls.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report abnormalities to the concerned authority.
• Follow all safety standards and company policies during work execution.
