Job summary

Sankar NP Japan Private Limited is seeking a fitter to support production through machine setup, tool fitting, and timely tool changes. The role involves coordinating with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure tooling readiness, quality checks, and accurate record-keeping.

Candidates with NTTF or similar training and a willingness to learn will be preferred. Responsibilities include following safety rules, participating in training, and contributing to a safe and efficient

Qualifications

• Candidate passed from NTTF or similar institution for fitter position preferred.
• Experience in tool loading and setting.
• Willing to learn to meet Production Department tooling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Prepare and adjust machines (like stamping and forming machines) for production.
• Tool Fitting: Put in, align, and adjust tools correctly.
• Tool Change: Change tools as per production plan. Do it quickly to reduce machine stop time.
• Quality Check: Work with quality team to make sure parts are correct. Measure and check parts often.
• Record Keeping: Write down details of setups and tool changes. Report any problems.
• Problem Solving: Find and fix setup or tool problems. Work with maintenance team if needed.
• Teamwork: Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams. Share information clearly.
• Safety: Always follow safety rules. Join safety training and help keep the workplace safe.
