Job summary

A manufacturing company in Ahmednagar is seeking a Fitter for die maintenance. The role involves performing routine maintenance of dies, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring safety standards. Candidates should have an ITI in Fitting or a Diploma in Mechanical/Tool & Die. Experience of 1 to 10 years is preferred but freshers may also apply. The position requires good problem-solving skills and the ability to read engineering drawings. Rotational shifts are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of dies used in alloy wheel production.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and assemble dies and moulds.
• Identify die damages and carry out polishing, welding, and finishing work.
• Support in die trial and fitting during production setup.
• Maintain die maintenance records and ensure availability of spares.
• Coordinate with production and tool room teams for smooth operations.
• Follow safety standards and maintain 5S in the work area.

Skills

Knowledge of die fitting, alignment, and assembly

Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Ability to read engineering drawings

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
