This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Finnish Voice Actor - Freelance AI Trainer Project based in India.

In this high-impact remote freelance role, you will bring your professional Finnish voice performance expertise to shape the future of conversational and expressive artificial intelligence. Operating as part of an innovative global project, you will record high-quality speech samples and systematically evaluate AI-generated speech outputs to elevate voice naturalness, emotional range, and linguistic precision in Finnish. Your daily work will involve evaluating pronunciation, pitch, tone, pacing, and regional variations, while collaborating closely with technical teams to refine voice design standards and evaluation metrics. By providing detailed linguistic feedback and recording scripted scenarios, you will help build AI voice models that deliver natural, engaging human communication across global applications in education, accessibility, and entertainment. This contract role offers high autonomy, flexible hours, and a direct hand in teaching cutting-edge speech technology to speak authentically to millions of users worldwide.

Accountabilities:

• Voice Recording & Sample Generation: Record high-quality scripted Finnish audio samples with proper nuance, tone, pacing, and emotional expression for AI training data.

• AI Speech Evaluation: Assess AI-generated Finnish audio outputs for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, pronunciation, and stylistic fidelity.

• Error Annotation & Feedback: Identify and document speech errors, unnatural phrasing, tone inconsistencies, or regional pronunciation flaws, providing structured error reports.

• Prompt & Standard Refinement: Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to refine prompt engineering, voice design guidelines, and evaluation frameworks.

• Quality Control & Iteration: Continuously review performance data and voice models to ensure Finnish speech outputs meet high professional performance standards.

Requirements:

• Language Fluency: Native-level fluency in Finnish with exceptional oral performance, pronunciation, and linguistic accuracy.

• Voice Acting Experience: Demonstrated professional background in voice acting, dubbing, narration, audiobooks, broadcasting, or related vocal performance fields in Finnish.

• Technical Equipment & Setup: Access to a high-quality home recording setup, including a professional-grade microphone, a quiet recording environment, a secure computer, and stable internet.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous active listening skills and a keen ear for subtle nuances in tone, pitch, pacing, regional variation, and emotional delivery.

• Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback on AI outputs.

• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in AI training, voice coaching, speech annotation, or linguistic data evaluation is a strong plus.
