Job summary

State Street in India is seeking a Manager to oversee production and BAU support for SEC Form N-PORT and N-CEN filings. You will manage all phases of implementation, work with ESP application support and agile labs to test and finalize the technology solution, and help create SOPs and checklists for the filing process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production and oversight process for N-PORT and N-CEN filings.
  • Setup Funds and Clients on ESP reporting platform.
  • Perform the production and review of N-PORT and N-CEN forms to high standards.
  • Understand errors, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and train staff; conduct periodic performance reviews and provide mentoring.
  • Collaborate with ESP support to integrate data sources and resolve client queries.

Job Title - Manager - NPORT
Who we are looking for:

This position will support the production and oversight process for SEC Form N-PORT and N-CEN filings. Manages all phases of implementation and BAU support. Works closely with the Enterprise Servicing Platform (ESP) application support team and Agile technology labs to test and finalize the technology solution for these filings. Assists in the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and checklist, oversight procedures for the filing process. ISA Financial Reporting team, India.

As a Manager you will have:

  • Setup Funds and Clients on ESP based reporting platform
  • Perform the production and review of N-PORT and N-CEN forms to the highest standard set by the department.
  • Understand errors, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions and conduct sessions with the team.
  • Form Analysis & Interpretation – assist in documenting the detailed calculation approach for a standard baseline + any client variability.
  • Work with Enterprise Servicing Platform (ESP) support team to integrate client-specific and 3rd party data sources.
  • Respond to Client Comments through My State Street (MySS) portal.
  • Review Alerts/Exceptions and Publish form to Client workflow.
  • Responsible for the direction and training of subordinates.
  • Conducts periodic performance reviews, provides ongoing counsel, training, development and motivation of staff.
  • Participates in the hiring, salary, promotional and termination recommendation process for directs.
  • Encourage team and ensure his/her directs to become SME.
  • Ensure adequate back-up is there for all activities.

  • 8+ years of experience in fund accounting or financial reporting is preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL would be a plus, not mandatory
