Job summary

questW in Pune is seeking a senior FP&A professional to analyze financial data, develop forecasts and reports to guide business decisions and drive performance improvements. You will partner with business leaders to translate data into actionable insights and support monthly closes and variance analysis.

The role requires strong planning, forecasting, risk management and a proactive mindset to influence strategic decisions across the organization in a global client setting.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics is essential.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in commercial financial planning and analysis, management accounting or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Review performance to identify trends and deliver timely reporting and analysis.
• Analyse key drivers and variance analysis, revise projections and provide forward-looking insights.

This is a full-time position with our global client. Job location - Pune.

Job Summary

Analyzes financial data to support decision-making processes. Prepares reports and forecasts to guide business strategies. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Review and interpret performance for trends and variations delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis to translate these into actionable responses on business performance.
• Analyse key drivers/ reports of business performance, including monthly and quarterly results and variance analysis, revise projections as appropriate, prepare forward looking insights and scenarios
• Drive the planning processes for Target setting, deployment and forecast and support the long-term strategic plan.
• Partners with business leaders to provide input and guidance on business issues and to provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision‑making issues affecting business performance.
• Accurately & efficiently perform management accounting, support monthly/ quarterly close process.
• Understand and Manage aspects of risk management- regulatory impact etc. on the business and help ensure the business is best positioned to respond.
• Work with IT to digitalize, automate processes, self‑service reporting and improvement & simplification in SAC.

Critical Experiences

• Chartered Accountant or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is essential to provide a strong foundation in financial principles and analytical skills.
• Minimum of 7 years onwards experience in Commercial financial planning and analysis, management accounting, or related roles, demonstrating proficiency in performance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
