Job summary

Transsion is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support financial and business analyses across three brands in the India Region. You will mine and process data, build analysis models, and deliver monthly financial statements with variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A, business analysis, or data analysis, a degree in Finance or related field, and proficiency with SQL, Python, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 5+ years in FP&A, business or data analysis, with retail/consumer goods background preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with SQL/Python/Power BI for data modeling and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Data mining, processing and analysis for operations and projects.
• Provide analysis to support financial and operational decisions.
• Build models to identify growth points, optimization space and efficiency gains.
• Promote BI tools use in finance and business; coordinate with tech/ops on tracking and indicators.

Job Description

FP&A Analyst supports the financial and business commercial analysis of the sales ends of three brands in the India Region. Core responsibilities include:

1. Familiar with business and data analysis processes, able to independently complete tasks such as data mining, data processing, and data analysis based on business operations and project requirements
2. As the financial BP for the regional brand sales business, provide data analysis to support financial and operational decision-making and efficiency improvement, including channel effectiveness, retail operation effectiveness, ROI of marketing investment, etc.
3. Establish an analysis model based on regional market conditions and relevant data, deeply explore business growth points, business optimization space, and efficiency improvement paths, identify problems, and propose improvement suggestions
4. Promote the application of data tools (such as BI platforms) in the finance and business departments to improve data utilization efficiency; coordinate with the technology and operations teams to complete event tracking, establish the indicator system, and attribute abnormal issues.
5. Conduct monthly analysis of financial and business data, output Financial Statements for Management, perform variance analysis, and identify potential risks and opportunities
6. Assist in annual budget preparation and conduct monthly rolling financial forecasts

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analysis, or related fields

2. Over 5 years of experience in Financial BP, Business Analysis, or Data Analysis, with preference given to those with a background in the retail or consumer goods industry

3. Possess solid analytical skills, proficiently use tools such as SQL, Python, and PowerBI for data modeling, and combine BI tools to achieve visual analysis

4. Excellent communication and XFN collaboration skills, capable of influencing colleagues without a financial background

5. Fluent in English and willing to be based overseas permanently
