Job summary

RSM US Integrated Services India Private Limited in Gurgaon is seeking a CPA or semi-qualified professional with 1-3 years of lease accounting experience to join our Technical Accounting Consulting team for ASC 842/IFRS 16 work for US-based clients.

You will help deliver high-quality lease accounting work, drive process efficiencies, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a professional, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• CPA/Semi-qualified with 1–3 years of lease accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS lease accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and engagement requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with lease accounting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality lease accounting deliverables for US GAAP/IFRS engagements.
• Participate in multiple client engagements within Technical Accounting Consulting.
• Demonstrate understanding of complex accounting concepts and policies.
• Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.

Qualification and Minimum Entry Requirements

• CPA/Semi-qualified professional with 1-3 years of experience in lease accounting as per ASC 842/IFRS 16 with experience of bringing operational efficiencies and process optimization in that space.
• Candidate should have strong technical knowledge of US-GAAP/IFRS particularly with regard to lease accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret the data and engagement requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Experience of working on diverse lease accounting tools (preferred)

Position Responsibilities

• Perform high quality execution of lease accounting deliverables Participate in multiple engagements within the Technical Accounting Consulting practice to provide technical accounting and financial or business advisory guidance to U.S. based public clients
• Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of complex accounting concepts.
• Understand RSM’s service lines and work as a team in providing an integrated service delivery.
• Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan and client deliverables Open to work on other solution sets considering business requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to lease accounting.
• Support the development and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures.
