Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or related fields.
• Proven track record delivering stakeholder-facing BI solutions, preferably in Finance.
• Expertise in dashboard authoring, publishing, and administration using Tableau Cloud (essential).
• Proficiency with OBIEE and OAS to support and maintain current setups.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and data warehousing concepts (dim modeling, ETL/ELT, data marts).
• Advanced SQL capability and experience with Google BigQuery.

In your capacity as a BI Manager for Finance, you will drive results by resolving critical inquiries regarding business performance across various financial sectors. You will serve as the lead ambassador for BI programs within the department, steering strategic growth through the creation and oversight of analytical frameworks that shape organizational outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the main stakeholder liaison for BI architecture, active reports, and incoming reporting requests across Finance.
• Collaborate with Finance partners to analyze business workflows, discover opportunities, and execute core data-driven programs.
• Convert business needs into structured data models, datasets, and detailed technical specifications.
• Lead the deployment, development, and maintenance of interactive Tableau Cloud dashboards and report portfolios to empower business decision-making.
• Oversee legacy OBIEE and OAS reporting platforms, maintaining stability while driving strategic migration and modernization efforts.
• Identify architectural bottlenecks and champion continuous improvements across BI systems.
• Align with Data Engineering, Finance, and cross-functional partners to uphold data governance, accuracy, and consistency.
• Direct the complete lifecycle of reporting solutions from requirement discovery through deployment and support.
• Document report logic, data definitions, and processes to promote self-service and long-term knowledge transfer.
• Enforce best practices to guarantee maintainability and technical sustainability over time.

Who you are:

• Professional background with a BE/B.Tech and 8–10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
• Proven track record of delivering stakeholder-facing BI solutions, preferably within Finance or Financial Reporting domains, and co-ordinate across departments.
• Expertise in dashboard authoring, publishing, and administration using Tableau Cloud (essential).
• Proficiency with legacy BI platforms like OBIEE and OAS to support and maintain current setups.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and data warehousing concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, ETL/ELT processes, data marts, fact/dimension design) — able to work closely with the data team to translate business/reporting requirements into clear technical data requirements that can be designed and built.
• Advanced SQL capability covering data modeling, complex queries, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience leveraging Google BigQuery for analytics workflows.
• Skilled in designing BI enterprise architecture and transforming ambiguous business demands into structured technical plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills, equipped to manage competing priorities and act as the BI ambassador for key business units.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing a ticketing/workflow tool (e.g., Jira Service Management or something similar ).
• Prior experience in consulting, product-focused environments, or financial analytics, with financial domain knowledge considered a plus.
