Job summary

ASSPL in Bengaluru is seeking a Finance professional to lead planning, budgeting, and financial analysis for the Amazon network. You will build models, automate tools, and drive cost-out initiatives across transportation planning and operations.

The role requires MBA or professional accounting qualifications with 3+ years in finance/analytics and experience using data mining tools like SQL, Cognos, and Essbase. On-site in Bengaluru with exposure to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or MBA.
• 3+ years in finance, tax or related analytical field.
• 3+ years creating processes with automation and analysis.
• 3+ years identifying and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build financial analysis models driving operational decisions across the Amazon network.
• Work on cost out initiatives and long-range planning including annual budgets.
• Automate existing models and tools to scale up Amazon Transportation Network.
• Operations and cost planning for the Network; weekly, monthly variance analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with operations to drive productivity improvements and cost savings.
• Facilitate financial review meetings with key partner business groups.

Basic Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent), or MBA
• 3+ years of finance, tax or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
