Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Ahmedabad, India, is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support corporate accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance for the India business. You will work with SSEA, supply chain, AR, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The role requires hands-on accounting experience, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • CA with 3–5 years or relevant degrees in Accounting or Finance with 6–8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); fluent in English.
  • Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal and conflict management skills with the ability to work with a global team, customer service, and leadership mentality.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced global organization.
  • Solid working experience and knowledge of SAP, BI tools, Blackline and office software (Excel).
  • Exposure to Statutory audit, compliance, GST/TDS & taxation rules.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure period end reporting reflects BU results and HFM reporting.
  • Prepare the monthly results for SSEA team for consolidated financial statements.
  • Review journals in accordance with policy and support management accounting.
  • Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports and variance analysis.
  • Prepare financial statements as per Indian accounting standards and ensure timely statutory audit.
  • Support SSEA team with queries relating to India business.
  • Participate in meetings to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and India taxation rules (GST/TDS).
  • Track ageing and manage vendor payments; coordinate AR aging.

About The Position

We have the perfect opportunity for an aspiring accountant to develop your skills and experiences. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment where the successful candidate must have the right attitude, be prepared to roll their sleeves up and be an excellent problem solver. This person will have a broad range of responsibilities across all aspects of corporate accounting and accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation and internal control activities for the India business. We are looking for someone who doesn't need any motivation to develop, a self‑starter, who is hungry to continually improve accounting processes. You will be working closely with various internal and external business partners like our SSEA teams, Supply chain team, account receivable team, the external consultants, auditors and the Government authorities.

In brief, you will be responsible for the following accounting responsibilities for our India trading business:

  • Ensure period end reporting correctly reflects BU results and HFM reporting
  • Prepare the monthly results for SSEA team for consolidated financial statements
  • Review of business activities, calculation, set up and posting of accounting journals in accordance with journal policy and support for management accounting in the same.
  • Prepare and review of Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports, variance analysis and other general accounting duties as required.
  • Prepare financial statement as per Indian accounting standards and ensure timely completion of Statutory audit without adverse remarks.
  • Support SSEA team with queries relating to India business.
  • Participate in meetings to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, procedures and policy with India Taxation i.e. TDS, GST, etc.
  • Keeping track of the transactions and monitoring accounts to ensure that ageing is up to date.
  • Analyzing vendor aging reports to pay all invoices in a timely manner and works to build sustainable processes between Accounts Payable, the supplier and internal customers.
  • Prepare inter-company invoices based on cost calculation and manage AR aging.
  • Working with supply chain team to co-ordinate the sales details and process sales invoice in system. Also, perform revenue recognition activities to ensure the control in place.
Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively lead, manage, and prioritize multiple projects, while operating in a fast-paced, complex global organization with shifting schedules and priorities
  • Solid working experience and knowledge of SAP, BI tools, Blackline and office software (Excel).
  • Exposure to Statutory audit, compliance, GST/TDS & taxation rules
