Job summary

RRD invites applications for a Senior Financial Associate/Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst based in Chennai, at Prestige Polygon Office. The role focuses on general ledger processes, reconciliations, journals, and close activities with exposure to REIT accounting.

Candidates should demonstrate strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work in a team, with flexibility for an evening shift and potential O/T during close periods.

Qualifications

• Accounting knowledge required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• REIT accounting experience preferred.
• 2–8 years in GL: reconciliations and journals.
• Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet and year-end close.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Shift may be from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM and may extend during month-end close.
• Experience with Yardi, Oracle, MRI or JD Edwards.

Must Skills

1. Candidates should be well versed in accounting knowledge
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment are essential for this role
3. Knowledge in Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Accounting is preferable
4. Should have prior experience of 2-8years in GL process - Reconciliations (AR & Bank recons) and journals (accrual & re-class)
5. Good Knowledge in P&L, B/S, Financial Statements, Year-end reconciliation and budgeting is required.
6. Good exposure in excel to use advanced functions of MS excel.
7. Should be flexible in shift time (typicallyworkfrom 7.30 pm to 4.30 am and may stretch during M/E close)
8. Tool Knowledge in Yardi or Oracle or MRI or JD Edward
