  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and compiling financial and administrative reports for internal business units, management, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Audit Support: Contribute to external audit preparation by gathering, organizing, and providing the required financial information and supporting documentation.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate transaction processing and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide supporting documents, address accounting questions, and resolve transaction-related issues.
  • Cash Management and Reconciliation: Assist with cash reporting, bank reconciliations, and the preparation and execution of payments through electronic banking platforms.
  • Contract Administration: Support the maintenance, accuracy, and regular updating of the organization's contract database.
  • Internal Controls and Procedures: Assist in maintaining, updating, and documenting internal financial controls and financial procedure manuals to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Financial Systems Administration: Act as the system administrator for the organization's travel and expense management platform, supporting its effective day-to-day operation.
  • Cross-functional Support: Contribute to broader finance and administrative activities as required, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach within a small finance team.
  • Process Improvement: Help maintain efficient financial workflows, identify discrepancies, and support improvements in accounting administration and operational procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance administration, or financial operations, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and administrative procedures.
  • Accounting Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of accounting processes, journal entries, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Financial Software: Practical experience using financial management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with Microsoft Business Central is required or strongly preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong accounting and analytical abilities, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English at a minimum C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • International Collaboration: Experience working with colleagues, suppliers, or stakeholders across different countries and cultures, with the ability to adapt communication styles and coordinate activities across time zones.
  • Organization and Prioritization: Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy while remaining flexible and responsive to stakeholder needs.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Comfortable working collaboratively within a small team while also taking ownership of responsibilities and completing tasks independently.
  • Service Orientation: Strong commitment to delivering high-quality service, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining positive professional relationships.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in an international, multicultural, and evolving work environment.
  • Mission Alignment: Genuine interest in sustainability, transparency, accountability, and the broader mission of supporting responsible business practices.
Benefits
