The Finance Projects Manager will lead finance transformation and cross-functional projects to enhance finance processes, reporting, automation, and digital capabilities. The role will drive process improvements across key finance areas, including accounting, reporting, audits, AR/AP, banking, taxation, ERP/SAP, and financial controls, while partnering with Finance, IT, Shared Services, Operations, and Global stakeholders to deliver standardized, efficient, and technology-enabled finance solutions.
The Finance Projects Manager will lead and support strategic finance transformation initiatives across Sandvik Coromant India. The role will be Lead and manage finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, standardization, and governance across finance processes. Drive end-to-end execution of finance projects including planning, implementation, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and successful delivery. Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and digitalization within finance operations. Support ERP implementation, upgrades, and finance system enhancements in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders. Manage cross-functional finance projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and global standards.
Drive automation initiatives using digital tools, Power BI, AI-enabled solutions, and workflow automation platforms. Improve financial reporting accuracy, speed, and data quality through process optimization. Identify opportunities to eliminate manual activities and improve productivity across finance functions.
Provide project support across key finance functions including: Financial Accounting , Accounts Receivable (AR),Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Banking & Treasury , Taxation (Direct & Indirect Taxes), Statutory & Internal Audits, Financial Reporting ,Compliance, Fixed Assets, Budgeting & Forecasting ,Financial Controls. ERP & Systems Support implementation and optimization of SAP and other Finance ERP systems. Coordinate with Global Finance and IT teams on system enhancements and process improvements. Participate in testing, user acceptance, training, and deployment of finance solutions. Ensure system controls support compliance and reporting requirements.
Develop and enhance management dashboards using Power BI or similar visualization tools. Support finance leadership with data analytics, KPI reporting, and business insights. Utilize AI-enabled tools and advanced reporting techniques to improve decision-making.
Partner with Finance leadership, Shared Services, Operations, HR, IT, and Global Finance teams to successfully deliver finance projects. Drive effective communication and change management throughout project execution.
CA or MBA Finance with 6–10 years of relevant experience in finance, reporting, auditing, accounting, banking, taxation, ERP/SAP, finance transformation, or related areas. Knowledge of SAP, ERP platforms, Power BI, Query/AI tools, workflow automation, or digital finance solutions will be an added advantage. Hands-on exposure to finance processes such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Banking, Reporting, Taxation, Audits, Financial Controls, and M&A support is preferred. Ability to manage cross-functional finance projects from concept to execution, including stakeholder coordination, timelines, risks, testing, training, and implementation. Experience working in manufacturing or multinational organizations is preferred. Exposure to Shared Services and Global Finance environments is desirable.
Strong knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes, experience in SAP/ERP systems, Financial Reporting, Audits & Compliance, Taxation and Financial Controls, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) & Banking, Finance Automation (preferred), Project Management and Process Improvement.
