IQ-EQ is seeking a Finance Manager - Strategic Projects to provide financial leadership across the group’s strategic investment portfolio. You’ll partner with executive leadership, shape budgets, forecasts, and business cases for major initiatives.

You will establish governance for costs and benefits, run advanced modelling (NPV, IRR, ROI, ARR, DCF), and deliver portfolio-level reporting. A minimum of 10 years in finance with project/FP&A experience and professional qualifications is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related discipline; professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years finance experience in project finance, FP&A, business partnering, and multinational environments.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, project accounting, investment appraisal, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced financial modelling and business case development with NPV, IRR, ARR, ROI, discounted cash flow methodologies.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency with strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsabilidades

• You’ll partner with executive leadership and senior stakeholders to provide financial and commercial insights that support strategic investment, transformation, technology, operational improvement, and growth initiatives.
• You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the strategic project portfolio, monitoring expenditure, identifying risks and variances, and ensuring effective allocation of financial resources.
• You’ll develop and evaluate business cases using advanced financial modelling and investment appraisal techniques, including NPV, IRR, ROI, ARR, discounted cash flow analysis, and cost-benefit assessments.
• You’ll establish and maintain governance frameworks to track project costs, benefits, and returns, ensuring the realization of revenue growth, cost savings, efficiency improvements, and overall value delivery.
• You’ll deliver portfolio-level financial reporting, executive commentary, and governance materials while ensuring compliance with financial controls, accounting policies, audit requirements, and organizational governance standards.

Introduction

The Finance Manager - Strategic Projects is a senior finance business partnering role responsible for providing financial leadership, governance, and commercial insight across the Group's strategic investment portfolio. Partnering closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and project teams, this role evaluates, monitors, and reports on strategic initiatives to ensure investments are financially viable, aligned with business objectives, delivered within approved budgets, and achieve targeted business outcomes.

About you

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline, with a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, or MBA Finance preferred.
• You bring a minimum of 10 years of finance experience, including significant exposure to project finance, FP&A, business partnering, strategic investment analysis, and multinational business environments.
• You possess strong expertise in financial planning, project accounting, investment appraisal, benefits realization, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• You have advanced financial modelling and business case development skills, with a strong understanding of NPV, IRR, ARR, ROI, discounted cash flow methodologies, and financial reporting and planning systems.
• You demonstrate advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
