Job summary

NEC Software Solutions India invites applications for a finance internship position. You will work with the senior members of the NEC Finance team to provide concise, timely financial information aligned with group timetables.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in commerce with 60%+ across finals.
• Accounting or business degree with an accounting module.
• Basic familiarity with Excel functions for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month end closing activities under senior supervision.
• Support invoice processing, payments and financial reporting.
• Exposure to AP, Master Data, RTR and OTC workflows.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and generate reports.

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To work with the Senior team members of the NEC Finance team to provide clear, concise, timely and accurate financial information to the Operational P&L owners and their management teams in accordance with the Group timetable.

Financial Responsibilities

• Assisting seniors in the team during Month end closing, Invoice Processing, Payments and financial reporting.
• The intern will also get an opportunity to get an work experience under different tower of F&A like Accounts payable, Master Data, RTR and OTC.
• Assisting seniors in the team in accounting related activities.
• Assisting in ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Commercial qualities

• Independent with Strong analytical skills.
• Good accounting experience.
• Experience of using Excel to an entry level (v-lookup, pivot tables)

• Flexibility to work within a high growth, rapidly changing environment

Qualifications

REQUIRED Essential QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong academic background (Bcom, Mcom- 2026-2027 batch passout with min 60% of aggregate score throughout academic)
