A finance executive is responsible for overseeing a company's financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning, by analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to senior management to optimize profitability and achieve organizational goals; they ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations while managing financial risks and making informed financial decisions.

Key responsibilities may include:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Developing annual budgets and forecasts
• Performing variance analysis and identifying areas for cost reduction
• Monitoring key financial metrics and KPIs
• Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities

Financial Reporting:

• Preparing accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Presenting financial reports to senior management and stakeholders

Cash Flow Management:

• Managing working capital and optimizing cash flow
• Forecasting cash needs and managing liquidity
• Overseeing accounts receivable and payable processes

Investment Analysis:

• Evaluating potential investments and capital allocation strategies
• Managing company assets and liabilities

Risk Management:

• Identifying and mitigating financial risks
• Implementing internal controls to protect assets and ensure data integrity

Compliance and Audit:

• Ensuring adherence to tax regulations and filing requirements
• Coordinating with external auditors and managing audit processes

Team Leadership:

• Leading and mentoring finance team members
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
