GIGABOX is a 60-minute delivery-led omnichannel retail platform for general merchandise, seamlessly bridging online and offline shopping to deliver a unified "App Bhi, Store Bhi" customer experience. We operate category-dedicated branded stores—spanning Kitchen, Sports, Toys, Bags, Gift, Electronics, Cosmetics, Home Decor, and more—fully integrated with our iOS and Android apps.

Our core USPs include 80-90% product assortment availability, a true touch-and-feel in-store experience, and fast local delivery within 60 minutes. Within 6 months of launch, we achieved over 5+ crores in cumulative revenue, attaining both store-level and company-level profitability. We currently operate two large-format stores in Jodhpur, Rajasthan: The GIGABOX Kitchen Store (4500+ sq. ft.) and GIGABOX Sports Store (4000+ sq. ft.), both launched on 10th Nov 2025. We are actively expanding with two additional Jodhpur stores for Toys and Bags, scheduled to launch on 14th September 2026. Backed by 7 crores raised across two funding rounds in our first year, our current ARR is 12 crore INR and is projected to reach 25 crore INR post-expansion. Our overarching vision is to build India's No. 1 general merchandise platform across the top 50 cities by launching 600 stores over the next 5-8 years.

• Work Type: Work from Office (1 day/week remote flexibility). For candidates hired in Jodhpur, the role will be completely work-from-office with no work-from-home flexibility.
• Working Days: Alternate 5-day and 6-day work weeks (Weeks 1, 3, and 5: Monday to Saturday; Weeks 2 and 4: Monday to Friday) - As the company is currently at an initial stage, we may require a few extra working hours and alternate 6-day work weeks to build and scale the company faster. However, after the next few months, once the company becomes more stable and structured, we also plan to move towards a complete 5-day work week structure. For candidates hired in Jodhpur, the role will follow a 6-day work week.
• Office Timings: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (High ownership role; flexibility expected)

What are we Looking For in a Finance Executive?

We are looking for a Finance Executive who can go beyond routine accounting and play an active role in building and scaling the company’s financial operations. At GIGABOX, finance is closely connected with business growth, store performance, profitability, fundraising, and strategic decision‑making. You will work closely with the Founder on financial planning, MIS, business analysis, preparing investor documents, approaching and pitching to investors, and improving overall business performance. This role requires strong ownership, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑moving startup environment with a strong bias for execution.

Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Executive at Gigabox, you will work closely with the Founder and play a key role in building and scaling the company’s financial operations.

• Preparing and managing financials for both the company and individual stores
• Creating and maintaining MIS reports for business tracking and decision‑making
• Supporting investor relations and fundraising activities
• Conducting financial research and analysis to improve sales, purchasing, gross margins, profitability, and overall business performance
• Assisting in financial planning, budgeting, and operational decision‑making across different business functions

This role will give you hands‑on exposure to the kind of responsibilities typically handled by a CFO in a fast‑growing company.

Education Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a strong finance and analytical background. The ideal candidate should meet one of the following criteria:

• Qualified CA with all levels cleared within 1–2 attempts
• CFA (USA) Charter holder (all CFA levels cleared)
• CA with CFA Level 2 cleared
• MBA in Finance from any IIM

Candidates with strong analytical ability, business understanding, and a high ownership mindset will be preferred.

Skills Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for financial modeling, reporting, data analysis, and MIS preparation
• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business performance tracking
• Strong analytical, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to convert numbers into actionable business insights
• Ability to prepare and interpret monthly financial reports, MIS, investor documents, and fundraising materials
• Good understanding of startup finance, unit economics, business metrics, and operational finance
• Ability to conduct in-depth research on investors, market trends, and the funding ecosystem
• Strong data visualization, presentation, and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in Canva for creating professional presentations and investor decks
• Familiarity with accounting and financial tools/software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with founders and cross‑functional teams
• High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail, execution speed, and accuracy in a fast‑paced startup environment

Experience Requirements

• Freshers with strong academic performance, good mathematics and statistics skills, sharp analytical thinking, and a high learning mindset are also encouraged to apply, even without prior work experience
• Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related roles will be preferred
• Experience in preparing monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow tracking will be an advantage
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, or business performance analysis is a plus
• Prior experience or exposure to investor research, fundraising support, financial analysis, or investor documentation will be an added advantage
• Strong hands‑on experience in MS Excel / Google Sheets for financial analysis, reporting, and MIS preparation is required

Other Requirements

• Prior experience in a 0→1 or early‑stage startup environment is preferred.
• Experience working closely with founders or senior leadership teams is highly valued.
• Exposure to startup, retail, e‑commerce, or consumer tech environments will be an added advantage.
• Strong alignment with startup culture, including speed, ownership, adaptability, and execution in fast‑changing environments.
• Ability to work effectively with limited resources, solve problems independently, and operate under high ambiguity.
