Job summary

A financial investment firm in Bengaluru is seeking a Finance Associate to manage financial operations and reporting. The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of experience and strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

What are you expected to do?

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile bank accounts, vendor payments, and other financial records
  • Prepare Ind AS compliant standalone and consolidated financial statements

Taxation & Compliance

Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies
  • Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Budgeting & Analysis

  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis
  • Provide insights to improve financial efficiency and decision-making

Process Optimization

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Support automation initiatives and system upgrades

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams to manage financial aspects of projects
  • Provide timely financial insights to support business decisions
What are we looking for?
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • 2- 3 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or audit
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance
  • Proficiency in financial tools and software
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of financial modeling
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Familiarity with investment products and financial markets
