Job summary

Siemens Industry Software (India) Private Limited in Pune is seeking a mid-level Finance professional to join our FP&A team. You will lead financial modelling, forecasting, and performance analysis to support global decision making and strategic initiatives.

You will collaborate with accounting and business units, prepare dashboards in SAP/Power BI/Tableau, monitor budgeting processes, and ensure compliance with global policies while driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and modelling skills; able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Financial Modelling and Forecasting: analyse data, forecast trends, report to senior management.
• Assist budgeting processes and monitor actuals vs forecasts to identify variances.
• Provide trend analysis and recommendations to improve performance.
• Ensure global accounting policies are followed including transfer pricing considerations.
• Data Analysis: create dashboards, performance reports, and executive summaries.
• Identify strategic options using data and technology; craft ad hoc reports.
• Communication and Data: bridge between management and technical teams with insights.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Modelling and Forecasting

• Analysing financial data and performing financial forecasting - Reported to senior management to aid strategic decision making.
• Assisting in the annual budgeting process and supervising actual financial results against forecasts to identify discrepancies
• Providing analysis of trends and forecasts and recommending actions to improve business performance.
• Ensuring global accounting policies are met and should have experience in Transfer pricing regulations.

Data Analysis

• Reporting: Prepare dashboards, performance reports, and executive summaries.
• Identifies strategic options to contribute, using data and technology.
• Crafting generic and ad hoc reports.

Communication and Data

• Collaborator Teamwork: Acting as the bridge between management and technical teams by presenting insights and translating business goals.
• Collaborating closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

System & Tools

Proficient with SAP, Power BI, Tableau and any Forecasting tool!

Qualifications

• Experience - 8 to 10 years of experience
• Applicants are encouraged to have analytical, numerical and modelling skills and must be able to work to tight deadlines.
• An FA should have strong personal and communication skills alongside confident leadership and management skills.
