About Monsoonfish

Monsoonfish is a design and brand strategy studio in Pune. We do UX/UI design, product strategy and corporate branding for forward-thinking clients and for our own products. Role overview

We're looking for a UI Designer who sweats the details and ships beautiful, usable interfaces in Figma. You'll design screens, flows and components for client products and Monsoonfish's own initiatives, working alongside our UX designers, brand designers and product strategists. Good taste, clean execution and a habit of owning your work matter more to us than a long résumé.

What you'll do

• Design polished interfaces. Turn wireframes, briefs and rough ideas into high-fidelity UI for websites, web apps and mobile products.
• Build and maintain design systems. Create reusable components, styles and variables in Figma so our work stays consistent and fast to scale.
• Own the details. Typography, spacing, colour, hierarchy, states, micro-interactions. You catch what others miss.
• Collaborate closely. Work with UX designers, brand designers, strategists and developers, and take feedback well.
• Prepare clean handoffs. Organised files, clear specs and annotations so developers can build without guessing.
• Stay on brand. Adapt your visual style to each client's identity while keeping the Monsoonfish quality bar.
• Contribute to Monsoonfish itself. Support internal products, pitch decks, case studies and the occasional brand or social visual.

• Great Figma execution: auto layout, components, variants, variables and prototyping.
• A strong portfolio that shows visual craft and a clear reason behind your choices.
• A sharp eye for typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
• Working knowledge of UX fundamentals, accessibility basics and responsive design.
• Comfort handing off to developers with clean files and clear specs.
• Motion or prototyping skills, branding sensibility, or experience with AI tools in your design workflow.
