Job summary

Magicdecor is seeking an energetic Field Sales Executive to manage assigned customer visits across Hyderabad. The role involves understanding customers’ requirements, taking site measurements, demonstrating wallpaper and decor samples, preparing quotations, collecting initial payments, and guiding customers through the sales process.

This field-based position requires regular local travel and daily reporting to the City Manager, with targets for sales, payment collection, and conversions.

Qualifications

• Graduate or diploma holder in any discipline; practical experience welcome.
• 1–3 years of field sales experience preferred in home decor/interiors/furniture/building materials.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to take accurate measurements using tape or digital tools.
• Willingness to travel within Hyderabad and operate field-based.
• Fluency in Telugu or Hindi, with functional English; owning a two-wheeler and driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Magicdecor is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Field Sales Executive to manage assigned customer visits across Hyderabad. The executive will understand customers’ requirements, take accurate site measurements, demonstrate product samples, prepare quotations, collect initial payments, and guide customers through the sales process.

This is a field-based role requiring regular local travel and daily reporting to the City Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit residential and commercial customers according to assigned appointments and schedules.
• Take accurate measurements of walls and other relevant installation areas.
• Present and demonstrate wallpaper, wall décor, and other product samples.
• Clearly explain product features, pricing, installation processes, maintenance, warranties, and expected timelines.
• Recommend suitable products and solutions based on the customer’s needs.
• Calculate requirements and prepare accurate, professional quotations.
• Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Collect the required initial or advance payment and provide appropriate payment confirmation.
• Maintain accurate records of measurements, quotations, payments, customer discussions, and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with the City Manager and internal installation or operations teams for smooth order execution.
• Provide daily updates to the City Manager regarding visits, leads, quotations, payments, conversions, and pending follow-ups.
• Address customer questions professionally and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Achieve assigned sales, payment collection, and conversion targets.
• Represent Magicdecor professionally during every customer interaction.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate or diploma holder in any discipline; candidates with relevant practical experience may also apply.
• Approximately 1–3 years of experience in field sales, direct sales, home décor, interiors, furniture, building materials, real estate, or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to take accurate measurements using measuring tape or digital measuring tools.
• Basic numerical skills for calculating quantities, pricing, discounts, and quotations.
• Comfortable using a smartphone, WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets, and sales or CRM applications.
• Ability to work independently, manage appointments, and travel throughout Hyderabad.
• Fluency in Telugu or Hindi, along with functional English, is preferred.
• A two-wheeler and valid driving licence are preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is confident, well-organized, punctual, target-oriented, and comfortable meeting customers at their homes or business locations. They should be able to combine consultative selling with accurate site measurement and responsible payment collection.

Working Conditions

• This is primarily a field-based position.
