Job summary

SucSEED Ventures invites a 12-month full-time Compliance & Fund Accounting Fellow to join our Gandhinagar/Hyderabad offices. You will engage with Finance, Compliance, and Leadership teams to support regulatory tracking, financial reporting, and fund documentation.

The role targets individuals pursuing CS/CA/Commerce or finance qualifications with strong governance and Excel skills, and a willingness to relocate to Hyderabad for the office-based internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CS/CS Executive/CA/CA Inter or completed B.Com / M.Com / Finance / Accounting or related qualifications.
• Strong understanding of Regulatory compliance processes, Internal Control & governance, accounting fundamentals and financial statements.
• Possess strong working knowledge of Excel, reporting tools, and documentation management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fund accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting activities.
• Support SEBI and IFSC AIF compliance, governance, regulatory tracking, and operational coordination processes.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of MIS reports, investment trackers, capital account statements, and fund documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, fund administrators, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support investor onboarding documentation, reporting, and compliance-related workflows.
• Assist in tracking regulatory filings, documentation timelines, and operational processes.
• Work on data management, reporting accuracy, and process execution across fund operations.
• Support preparation of presentations, reports, compliance summaries, and financial analysis as required.

About The Internship

SucSEED is looking for a Compliance & Fund Accounting Fellow for a 12-month full-time fellowship based out of Gandhinagar or Hyderabad. The fellowship is designed for ambitious individuals looking to build a career in venture capital fund operations, regulatory compliance, governance, financial reporting, and fund accounting. It offers hands-on exposure to venture capital fund operations, regulatory compliance, governance processes, financial reporting, and fund accounting within an institutional investment environment.

The fellow will work closely with the Finance, Compliance, Fund Accounting, and Leadership teams across various operational, reporting, regulatory, and execution-related initiatives involved in running a venture capital platform.

Ideal Candidates Would

• Be pursuing CS / CS Executive/ CA / CA Inter or completed B.Com / M.Com / Finance / Accounting or related qualifications. LLB would also be accepted as long as they demonstrate other requirements.
• Have a strong understanding of Regulatory compliance processes, Internal Control & governance, accounting fundamentals and financial statements.
• Possess strong working knowledge of Excel, reporting tools, and documentation management.
• Be highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
• Have strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Be comfortable handling confidential financial, operational, and compliance-related information.
• Be proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Prior exposure to accounting, audit, compliance, secretarial, taxation, or finance operations would be an advantage.
• Be based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate and work from the office.
