Capgemini is seeking a software professional to write and test code for Java back-end services and front-end Angular modules. You will analyze requirements, document solutions, and respond to Production Support issues while delivering efficient, well-documented programs.

The role involves preliminary effort estimation, data conversion considerations, and ensuring security, backup, and recovery needs are addressed. A certification in Java, Angular, or NodeJS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification is a plus on Java/Angular/NodeJS.

Responsibilities

• Code instructions for computer programs/objects/components and test changes to meet specs.
• Document and implement programs according to installation standards and conventions.
• Provide documentation for written programs and respond to Production Support issues as required.
• Conduct preliminary estimates (Rough Order of Magnitude) for changes to application functionality.
• Analyze and recommend data backup, security, restart/recovery and data conversion needs.

Essential Job Functions Codes instructions for computer programs/objects/components; configures packaged software; tests and implements all changes to ensure they meet specifications. Documents and implements programs according to installation standards and conventions. Quality checks program code, related objects and documentation. Responds to Production Support issues. Works with business as required. Analyzes programs to ensure that they efficiently use computer and storage resources; recommends appropriate changes as necessary. Conducts preliminary estimates / Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort of new/change to application functionality. Analyzes and makes recommendations for the need for system backup, security, restart/recovery, balancing & controls; recommends approaches for meeting such needs. Analyzes and documents the requirements and approaches to data conversion and data modeling.
