Job summary

Morgan Stanley India seeks an Analyst for Wealth Management Home Office to support reporting, analysis, and insights into trends affecting results. You will work closely with colleagues across Mumbai, NY/NJ, and Budapest to deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of Wealth Management or related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong organizational and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.

  • Collaborate with teams in Mumbai, NY/NJ, and Budapest to distribute management reports daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly.
  • Understand Wealth Management Home Office initiatives to perform analysis.
  • Daily/monthly/quarterly reporting and trend analysis on metrics.
  • Develop, implement and present key data and metrics to senior management.
  • Verify accuracy of output using different data sources and methodologies.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Identify key issues, gather data, and develop actionable recommendations.

Job Description

Analyst role to be a part of Wealth Management Home Office at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. The primary responsibilities will be reporting, analysis and insights on trends and activities that are driving the results working closely with other members of Wealth Management Home Office.

Position Responsibilities
  • Point person with various corporate partners to develop analysis, produce reporting, and conduct research, specifically with Human Resources, Finance and FA Comp
  • Collaborate with team in Mumbai, NY/NJ, and Budapest to distribute a suite of management reports to be produced on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Understand Wealth Management Home Office initiatives as a basis to perform analysis
  • Daily/monthly/Quarterly reporting and trend analysis on metrics
  • Develop, implement and present key data and metrics to senior management
  • Be able to leverage different data sources and methodologies to verify accuracy of output
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Ability to identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues and develop actionable recommendations.
  • The candidate must be flexible in their work style and be able to work collaboratively with others on the team
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of Wealth Management or Industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills
  • Must be a self-starter and a quick learner, able to prioritize multiple projects and complete deliverables in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail
  • Possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a strong team and high activity environment
  • Demonstrated effectiveness with both oral and written communication
